Job description

The County Clerk/Recorder/School Superintendent is a joint position responsible for providing the primary administrative function for recording and maintaining the majority of all the legal documents relating to real estate records, land descriptions, county birth and death records, and the records of the Board of County Commissioners, which includes budgets and setting levies for the county and school districts.

Eligibility requirements

A candidate for county superintendent of schools must be a qualified elector, hold a valid, current class 1 professional certificate, class 2 standard certificate, or class 3 administrative and supervisory certificate issued by the superintendent of public instruction, and have at least 3 years of successful teaching experience.
