Job description

The Assistant City Clerk works under the supervision of the City Clerk. The Assistant City Clerk is responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day activities and keeping records of the proceedings of the City Council and other boards.

Eligibility requirements

Must be a qualified elector. Must be a U. S. citizen. Must be an Arkansas resident. Must live in jurisdiction to be represented at time of filing and throughout term A.C.A.. Must be lawfully registered to vote. Must never have been convicted of embezzlement of public money, bribery, forgery, or other infamous crime.
